About Focus Lah!
Quick, free browser games for the back row of the lecture hall. Play the friend two seats over, or go solo when they're actually paying attention.
What it is
Focus Lah! is a collection of short games that run in any browser, on a laptop or a phone. Most rounds last a minute or two, so they fit in the gap before the next slide. There's nothing to install and no account to make.
- Play with friends. Open a game, switch to With friends and share the 4-letter room code or link. Up to six people can join a room, depending on the game.
- Play solo. Most games also let you play against the computer, at easy, medium or hard. Puzzles like Sudoku and arcade games like Snake work fine on your own too.
- Quiet by default. Sound is off until you turn it on, and the light and dark themes keep the screen easy on the eyes.
Who makes it
Focus Lah! is a small independent project by ZaggyLabs, made in Singapore. It started from the idea that the best games for a lecture are the ones you can start in five seconds and put away just as fast.
The games are our own versions of classic pen-and-paper and playground games (like noughts and crosses, dots and boxes and paper football), plus a few originals such as Canteen Rush, Late for Class and Word Rain.
How it's paid for
The site is free. To cover hosting it may show a small number of ads. We try to keep them out of the way of the games. See the privacy policy for what that means for your data.
